A little bit about me…

Hi, my name is Grace. In May of 2023, I graduated from Miami University with a BA in Interactive Media Studies, as well as a minor in marketing through Miami’s Farmer School of Business. Through my pursuit of my undergraduate degree, I completed a wide variety of coursework including coding, digital marketing, and UX/UI design. This diverse range of skills provides me with a unique perspective on marketing and design, as well as a broad range of knowledge and expertise in the marketing and UX/UI fields.

I have gained professional experience in both B2B marketing and B2C marketing through my summer internships at Hyland (software) and the Prayers from Maria Foundation, respectively. In each of these roles, I have demonstrated my ability to think creatively and strategically to develop marketing initiatives that meet business objectives and exceed expectations. At Hyland, one of my main projects included tracking and evaluating the success of various marketing campaigns across a multitude of industries including healthcare, education, financial services, government, and insurance. At the Prayers from Maria Foundation, I had the opportunity to direct and coordinate my own marketing campaign, which resulted in an increase of merchandise sales.

Additionally, throughout my senior year I worked on two major UX projects, where I discovered my passion for user experience research and design. In each project, my respective teams were given a charge by a financial services client, and a software/entertainment client. For each client, I conducted user research, and used those insights to ideate, develop, and design prototypes and wireframes using Figma. While collaborating with my team, we tested and redesigned each prototype to ensure that our design was serving its full utility. Working on each of these projects provided me with experience and exposure into the realities of working in the UX/UI field, and reinforced my passion for research, design, and creating.
